Every time redness starts to creep in I just lather it on more thickly and it clears up overnight. I also used it on my nipples in the beginning when I was breastfeeding and it is so soothing and really helps keep the nipples soft and not painful.
I gave it to a friend who had cracked and bleeding nipples after her new baby, and it cleared up in a day or two. And it was so soothing for her pain and burning feeling.
