Coconut flour is naturally gluten-free, which means those with Celiac or gluten intolerance can enjoy. It’s also full of health benefits you won’t find in ordinary, processed flour products.
Crede’s coconut flour is:
- High in fibre – nearly twice the amount of fibre found in wheat bran. Great for improving digestion, reducing the amount of sugar your body absorbs and lowering cholesterol.
- High in protein – even without gluten, coconut flour is higher in protein and essential amino acids than rye or cornmeal flour.
- Low in carbohydrates – the low-carb alternative to ordinary flours.
- Low GI (glycaemic index).
- Suitable for diabetics.
Crede is a proudly South African brand established in 1989, specialising in natural cold pressed oils and hearty nutritional products. The Crede range is a welcome addition to any health-conscious kitchen.
Directions
- Use as a substitute for ordinary flour when baking.
- Mix a spoonful into your favourite smoothies for a gluten-free nutrient boost.
- Store in a cool, dark place.
- Note: coconut flour is naturally quite dry, so more liquid may be required than when using conventional flour in your recipes.
Ingredients
100% Coconut Flour; made from coconut meal that has had the milk extracted from it, and milled to a fine powder.

22/08/2024, By ElizabethGood gluten free option, I look forward to using this in recipes.15/08/2022, By CandyAwesome flour substitute! Lovely product, flour is fine and it's affordable. Highly recommend.15/08/2022, By GwenGreat value for money. Tried a few recipes where I've replaced White Cake Flour with Coconut Flour. The trick is to only use between 1/4 - 1/3 C Coconut Flour for every 1 C White Flour and of course increase the liquids in the recipe (egss or butter). Made a good old South African favourite - 'crunchies' with Coconut Flour, my kids love them. Happy Baking!15/08/2022, By MichelleI bought this and still have more than half of it. Just don have any ideas as to what to do with it, its very grainy and saps tons of water. Do hope that F2N can post a recipe for this, because I am lost.15/08/2022, By SanetI only tried cookies so far, but I can see that a little will go a long way.15/08/2022, By TalithaReally enjoy this brand for the coconut oil as well as the flour. Great price compared to some supermarket prices. Recently started making pancakes using this flour. Coconut flour can be a bit dry so it works great with eggs and banana to add a bit of moisture to the pancakes. Enjoy baking!15/08/2022, By LieslI store my coconut flour in the freezer, and zap it out when I want to bake a health seed loaf. I have also used the flour to make chocolate brownies, and to coat chicken strips to fry up in butter for a yummy snack. Sound weird but delicious!15/08/2022, By JanineExcellent for gluten and grain free baking, amazing in smoothies to thicken and naturally sweeten. Love this product and brand. Great price!15/08/2022, By PageThis flour is my go to when baking cakes and muffins. i love adding it to my smoothies and sprinkle a bit on my oats. it has a mild coconut flavor which i love and it has healthy fats and fiber.15/08/2022, By JesseI use this coconut flour to make flat breads for when I am craving a grain-free cheese toastie. I was skeptical at first (it smells like tennis biscuits), however it is an awesome substitute and does not taste overly coconutty at all but rather adds a lovely subtle aroma to my sandwiches. Very useful to always keep in the kitchen15/08/2022, By JulaniI have baked a ton of stuff with this flour and it comes out perfect every time! Turns out you can do low carb and not have to give up baking *happy face*. The smell is amazing and my kids like to eat it dry, if you can believe that.15/08/2022, By KathyThis is a great product, is well-priced and lasts me ages because its not like wheat flour - you only use about 1/4 cup with baked goods. Its gluten-free, high in protein and fibre and is a great way for me to eat gluten-free and healthy at an affordable price. It doesn have an overly coconutty taste either.15/08/2022, By KerryLove adding this to my smoothies in the morning.
