Our waterways and seas are getting progressively more and more polluted as tons of harmful chemical detergents, disinfectants, bleach and many other regularly used household cleaning agents and body products are washing into them daily. It is time for this abuse to stop and for conscious living on all levels to start.
Our superb new cleaning range has been formulated and is manufactured using the very finest and most effective Ingredients we can source. A mixture of two foaming agents have been used. Decyl Glucoside which is a Surfactant foaming Agent, and is approved by Ecocert and BDIH as a natural product. It is made by combining a fraction of palm or Coconut Oil with glucose. The product has been tested for biodegradability and found to be freely and rapidly biodegradable. This means that it will generally be degraded into its components (fatty acid and glucose) in 4 to 8 hours. Combined with this is Cocamidopropyl Betaine – Co-surfactant (Approved by Soil Association, Ecocert and BDIH) This ingredient is extracted from Coconut Oil. It has an excellent safety record and is very well tolerated. It is approved under the Nordic Swan mark scheme that measures the environmental and health impact of cosmetic ingredients. We have combined these two superior foaming agents with locally produced organic essential oils wherever possible.
Directions for Use
Add one tablespoon (approx 15ml) to an average size load.
PLEASE NOTE
Sodium Benzoate is listed as a nasty in our pocket guide when used for food. But why then do we allow it in our cosmetics? The amount of Sodium Benzoate used in cosmetics is much smaller than in food as a preservative. Furthermore, the molecules are too large to be absorbed by the skin. This preservative has been allowed by Ecocert; the Soil Association and BDIH. It has been ranked by the EWG as having a low risk of 1. BUT there are reports circulating on the internet that warn against usage of the preservative even in cosmetics. We believe it is still one of the safer preservatives, but as always, we wanted you to be in the loop. The choice is yours to make.

12/12/2021, By EllieOnce I began using this I never stopped ... this cleans and preserves clothing.19/10/2021, By DianneCleaned my clothes and bedding well and lasted long. I would buy it again.07/06/2021, By FaraazAwesome healthy alternative to poisonous supermarket brands,07/11/2020, By JessI love this laundry soap. I've been using it for almost 8 years now and have yet to find a soap which is as economical and works as well!29/01/2020, By LilyDoes not leave any residue, but cleans thoroughly. I love that you only need a tablespoon per load.09/01/2020, By JessicaI've used this laundry soap for many years now and it is consistently great!09/01/2020, By JessicaI've used this laundry soap for many years now and it is consistently great!31/05/2019, By StephanieI’ve been using this gel for over a year, and I was very impressed how little you need to do a full load. I do find that whites aren’t necessarily whiter, but it’s clean, so I do my darker clothes and my husbands work clothes with this gel, as I’m finding some powders leave marks even after a wash. This gel also doesn’t leave any residue in the machine, like some powders do. My machine normally warns me that my machine needs an Eco wash, a clean out from too much left over powder, and I don’t use a lot purely to prevent the residue powder marks on the clothes. Using the gel, I hardly get that warning light anymore.30/12/2018, By VickiDoes not clean as well as the other brands i have tried25/07/2018, By TamsinI had to make the switch to pet-friendly products after accidently putting one of my cats in hospital after he fell into my normal liquid laundry detergent.
Commercial products obviously have a much more powerful smell and I usually only use them when washing a specific fluffy blanket that tends to stink like a wet dog when I use laundry powder.
This will be my test subject and I will publish follow up reviews on all of the other liquid laundry detergents that I purchased.
Enchantrix Laundry Gel cleans well and left the blanket smelling like nothing. Which is good in this case.16/11/2017, By MatekeI switched recently to this laundry gel and am very happy with it, and so is my lemon tree and herb garden as it much better for the grey water than 'normal' detergents04/10/2017, By JessicaThis is an excellent laundry gel. We have been using it for years, and have got friends onto it too. Great product!25/07/2017, By JackieI love this product. Washes laundry well. Removes stains and leaves washing smelling good. The best natural product I've tried. Economical too.27/06/2017, By DeniseExcellent product. Washes thoroughly. Leaves washing fresh and smelling clean.17/01/2017, By MariaUnfortunately this products really didn work for me. Ive tried to wash a couple of loads with it now, and the clothes come out exactly how they went in (ie with every single dirt mark still in place). I won be buying this again.08/02/2016, By Varshai only do handwashing and this gel has proved itself. good cleaning properties- no weird marks on clothes; i use earthsap conditioner and the two together ensure that my clothes come out smelling and feeling great.24/12/2015, By BarbaraThis works well - though not the best one Ive tried but by no means the worst. The softener of the same brand works very well too.14/03/2015, By VidetteI have been using this for a few months now. No softener needed. I really like this product.25/05/2014, By AminaHaving tried a sample of this, it is the only laundry wash (save pure vinegar) that is gentle on my sons skin. It washes the clothes. For stains wash in normal detergent than to make it ok for sensitive skin use this. My sons skin improved exponentially since using this - as there was no other change in our treatment - I can only assume it was enchantrix being gentle!16/03/2014, By AmieI will be trying another detergent, this product didn seem to wash out stains at all, even easy stains like spilt tea.17/11/2011, By KarienI was really disappointed in this product. It doesn't clean my laundry at all. It smells great but even normal dirt marks remained on the laundry24/07/2011, By TracyWorks really well and lasted a month which is pretty good going since we do at least two loads five days a week!21/05/2011, By NadineEnchantrix washes clothes cleaner than the supermarket varieties. I just wish it had a stronger smell like the Triple Orange brand.10/05/2011, By AlexandraI have tried all the organic laundry products, and this is the gentlest and most effective.21/03/2011, By JenniI can't live without this - I have very sensitive skin & detergents usually result in itching. I find this laundry liquid (and the fabric softener) gentle on clothes & on my skin. Don't expect it to have the same 'knock-out' smell that the commercial stuff does. The scent it leaves behind is subtle, which I like! Highly recommend!
