Triphala acts as a complete body cleanser. It helps to detoxify and cleanse the colon; purify the blood; reduce some forms of cholesterol and remove toxins from the liver. It is considered a gentle laxative; an intestinal, liver and gallbladder stimulant that helps to decongest these organs.
Because of its high vitamin content, especially vitamin C, Triphala is often used as a food supplement in India. Studies also suggest that triphala offers antioxidant, bacteria-killing, and immune-enhancing benefits, and may have anti-cancer effects.
To Use:- As a maintenance regime, take 1 tsp at betime with warm water or milk.

Not really the whole truth. Triphala restores the gut and promotes cleansing of the colon, promoting good colon health. Should be taken 2x daily on a regular basis. Even on a restricted diet, this product did not interfere or slow down weight loss. Do your own research on Triphala and it’s benefits.
