Stellar Winery
Stellar Winery is the largest producer of fine quality organic and fair traded wines in South Africa. These beautiful blends range from everyday easy-drinking wines to celebratory bubbly for those special occasions.
Stellar wines are made from organically grown grapes sourced from a number of independent farms. The brand established a fair trade programme in 2004; workers on the farms and in the winery together own 26% of the enterprise through shares in the Stellar Winery Empowerment Trust. The Stellar Foundation, a non-profit organization, also manages development projects on the farms and in the workers’ communities. Stellar’s fair traded organic wines carry Fair for Life certification.
