04 Jun Chufamix Nut Milk: Almond and Cashew
Shannon Goodman from @JourneyToZero_ shares two recipes with us, made using the amazing vegan milker; The Chufamix. The Chufamix is one of Faithful’s newest exclusive shopping additions; have a look at the product here, but as well as Shannon’s Chufamix-Made Chocolate Granola, using leftover nut pulp.
INGREDIENTS
- 2/3 cup almonds/cashews (soaked for min 60 mins)
- 500ml water
- 2-3 dates
- Vanilla extract (optional)
METHOD:
- Put nuts, water, dates and vanilla extract into your Chufamix.
- Blend for one minute using an immersion blender.
- Press the nut milk through the strainer using the pestle.
- And you’re done!
- Don’t throw away the nut pulp! I used mine in granola, but you can also use it in biscuits, muffins, smoothies, tart crusts and more.
