Make Your Own Natural Deodorant using Coconut Oil

It is no secret that regardless of how pristine our environment and lifestyle is, that our bodies will absorb toxins to different degrees. Fortunately, our bodies are built to deal with these toxins (to a point) and have marvellous internal systems to release the toxins. I presume that you will agree then that it makes absolutely no sense to make it harder for our bodies to release these toxins by blocking the release points? Even more so, how stupid would it be if humans had to not only block the body parts that help to release their toxins, but to actually apply potions to these points that are full of toxins. Madness, yes!!! Well folks, what do you think we are doing when we apply deodorant to our armpits (a major release points) that are packed with aluminium, parabens, minerals oils and synthetic fragrances…?

Mmm, food for thought.

Luckily, you have the good sense to use natural and organic products. (It goes to show that greenies, are not only more beautiful, but smarter too 😉

This DIY natural deodorant recipe works as well as natural deodorants on the market and of course far surpasses the synthetic deos on the market. If you don’t want to apply the deodorant by hand you can put in an old empty deodorant stick.

Enjoy!

DIY Natural Deodorant

I’ve been making my own deodorant like this for over a year now and I love it! I use a mix of essential oils: Rosemary, Lavendar, Mint, Rose Geranium & Lemongrass and People comment on how nice I smell and ask what I’m wearing! 🙂 I carry some around in an old eyecream container, which works for winter and summer.I have a little scoop I cut out from a kinder egg scoop because it stays pretty set during winter.
