03 Dec Shazzie’s Clever Mummy Sorbet
Shazzie from Raw Creation calls this a clever mummy sorbet. Why? Because clever mommies always find a way to get vegetables in to their gorgeous kid’s tummies. I especially love this recipe, as it is a great way to get greens into my beloved hubbies tummy too 😉
The sorbet tastes divine; has loads of sorbet in it and will keep for 3 months in the freezer. It makes for 1 tub.
You will need:
- 1 pineapple
- 3 celery stalks
- 30 ml agave nectar
- 20g raw coconut butter (I could not find coconut butter so I make coconut butter by blending desiccated coconut flakes to get the butter.)
Instructions:
- Peel, top and bottom the pineapple; cut it into chunks and throw the fruit; celery and the coconut flakes into a blender and blend until liquefied.
- Pour this liquid into a tub with a lid and freeze.
- Thaw the sorbet for 5 mins before scooping and place the unused sorbet back in the freezer.
- Enjoy!
