Luckily, there are so many delicious, refreshing and natural alternatives out there – made with fresh fruits and veggie juices and sweetened with raw honey, they’re so much kinder to your body, so you can drink to your health as you ring in the New Year on a positive note.

Vitality Vodka Lemonade
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 head of romaine lettuce
- 1 lemon
- 1 small piece of fresh ginger
- 2 green apples
- Organic vodka
Method
Juice the fruits and veggies (using your centrifugal or masticating juice extractor) and add organic vodka to taste. So simple, refreshing and low in calories – plus fresh-squeezed juice retains valuable vitamins and enzymes.
Thai Mint Iceberg Daiquiri
Ingredients
- 2 cups green tea
- ½ cup iceberg lettuce, chopped
- ¼ cup lime juice
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 ½ sprigs fresh mint leaves
- 3 ½ sprigs fresh sweet basil leaves
- ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated
- A splash of rum
- A handful of ice cubes
Method
Mix all ingredients well in blender until you get a frozen daiquiri consistency. Add more ice or honey to taste. Garnish with a twist of lime and enjoy!
Honey Bee Champagne Cocktail
Ingredients
- 20ml lemon juice
- 1 bottle organic champagne
- 15ml honey
- ½ cup water
- Lemon twist to garnish
Method
Heat honey and water together in a saucepan until the mixture thickens, then allow it to cool. Add the mixture to the lemon juice and champagne in a punch bowl Serve with ice and garnish with a twist of lemon.
